Figs for Anatolian hillmen

A few Byzantine , SAssanid and other dark age armies allow for various sorts of troops described as 'hillmen'. These are often identified as Laz, Tsan, Pisidians, etc. I am not sure what they should look like, and consulting my favorite manufacturers hasn't  helped. Any suggestions?

I'd just go with a generic tunic & trousers type, spear/javelins and (probably) a round shield.
