2 questions about pursuit moves
1) If you completely destroy the enemy UG (all bases)
In this case no rout movement (no base left)
So, no pursuit moves, correct?
P105 8D 3
"Other UGs make pursuit moves if any enemy they were fighting to their front rout"

2) If your enemy fights on multiple sides and you do not destroy him completely, you have the choice to pursue, but if you destroy him completely
No pursuit moves, correct?
P103 8B 2
"An UG with enemy fighting on two or more of front, left flank, right flank or rear OR with
bases facing in more than one direction does not rout and is destroyed on the spot. The
opponent has the option to pursue directly ahead full move distance with any UGs that were
fighting them."

Thank you for your answer

never seen a ug destroyed entirely, though potentially possible with small units like elephants. Your reading of the rules would match mine. What ever the circumstances for the complete wipe out, no rout move, no pursuit.

Destroy an enemy completely i.e. no bases left, no pursuit (this is not so in Pacto).
Destroy an enemy fighting in multiple directions - option for any/all of the UGs to pursue.

In Maximus it is pretty rare to destroy an enemy completely (unless they are fanatics).  Can happen with elephants and other small UGs.

Related:  KAB tests are only for friends within 3 BW of the broken TUG, and this is measured in the outcomes subphase, so if the TUG was totally wiped out, there are no KAB tests?

No, KaB tests include destroyed UGs.

I thought you use the unit footprint from just before it was broken/eliminated. I don't have the rule book with me but I am sure I have read that somewhere in the rout section.

"KaB test ranges are always measured to the bases that the routers had in place at the beginning of the phase in which they break – so occasionally you will need to put a base back to check distances."

Thanks. So not just the last base to go, but all bases lost that phase.
