Lowland Gallic armies can have up to 24 chariots. Do they therefore qualify for chariot tournaments?

Yep, that's an easy one. But sometimes 'chariot' seems to be synonymous with 'biblical' + Chinese. What to do then?

Well if the organiser is setting the comp up as "biblical" and doesn't include Gauls as allowed then they're not allowed. If they want them to be included they can include them. It's all down to how an individual organiser defines what is allowed.

Simple indeed, and I think we agree. Meanwhile it has possibly given some people the idea to include them while they might not have thought of it before.

Allowing armies because they have chariots with the expendable characteristic into a chariot themed competition would be odd in my opinion.  Another example might be allowing any wheeled vehicles and thereby including Battlewagons!  It is however the decision of a competition organiser to set the theme they want.

The purpose of setting a theme is surely to permit an interesting range of armies that includes armies you might not see in an open tournament and allows for variety.
