Supporting files and general

Hi Richard, the thread where I asked on the effect of a general fighting in front on the supporting files during the melee disappeared.
What happened ?

I think I deleted it...

The question was asked was could a supporting file claim for a general who was fighting in the file that was being supported.  The answer is no - only the actual file fighting can claim for the general and not the supporting file.
