Web-site keeps going into "mobile mode"
« on: April 01, 2019, 12:28:11 PM »
The website keeps deciding that I am on a mobile device and gives me the mobile interface. I hate this interface when working on a PC. How do you stop it doing that

The site calls the PHP HTTP_USER_AGENT to determine the mode it goes into  ... so is if it gets Mobile, Android,Silk , Kindle, Blackberry , Opera etc response from the client browser it will always go into mobile mode. So its all based the browser you are using...

things like Chrome you can F12 (developer mode) then use the desktop/mobile display toggle.

I am on a new laptop and have cleared my browser cache and Cookies. The site comes up in Mobile mode. I have tried developer mode and toggled the device: it just changes the screen width and remains with no upper menus.  >:(
