Had a though !!!!!
New Rule.
Breakthrough Attempt.
A general within 4BW  of own command can issue a command once per round in combat.
Use a yellow or Red card to upgrade a single dice roll. So if it was green on green action he uses a card to upgrade roll to a yellow.
Or if his troops were yellow v white he can upgrade his to red etc etc thus attempting a breakthrough 🤷‍♂️

Shall now wait to be ignored or shot down in flames 😂

IMO the rules already handle a "breakthrough attempt" perfectly well - get your punchiest troops in the right place, properly supported, and throw in a general if needed to speed things up  8)

Basically, putting your general into combat is how MeG handles the situation and it the appropriate way for the period MeG covers.

I know we just got the new PDF but it might be a good idea to open a page where people could express their ideas for new rules or evolutions so it can be discussed openly
