Posting pictures on the Forum
« on: December 19, 2018, 03:34:37 PM »
Just to set the tone here, but for this forums longevity we need to discuss the picture issue. The best solution for this is to store pictures on a third party site, and link them here, rather than uploading as an attachment. There are lots of free online picture storage solutions

  • photobucket
  • flickr
  • imgur
  • imageshack
  • tinypic

I could go on ... anywhere the picture is stored on the internet. In you post just use the [IMG] tag to link to your photo address

Photo attachments uploaded can be large, pictures taken from a camera, but it doesn't need to be that sort of resolution for the web. But rather than going through trying to resize the photos with you, it's probably easier to use the sites above that do it all for you automatically.

If after the img in the opening brackets, you insert width=800 it helps.
