Pacto size armies using Maximus rules

Had a question

has anyone tryed Pacto sized armies with the full Maximus rules ?

and if yes has it worked well ?

I have the same question!

I understand that missing slowing effect fire is balanced by smaller pacto units being more vulnerable to fire losses, but it would be nice to have the full range of prompted actions in pacto (including countercharge/intercept), if it doesn't break the overall balance of the game.

I haven't tried it, but give it a go.  Simon introduced Pacto to simplify the rules (to some extent) - no reason not to keep the more complex bits.
