Hi,
Looking at the Later Medieval Low Countries list, I'm left with a question:

Under notes it says:
'A C-in-C and sub-generals may combine their contingents.'
What does this entail? Block movement, cards combined, generals can command anything within that combination, or something else? And how permanent is that combination? Does it cost a card for example?
Cheers,
Cavi

The intention is that you can combine the selections and then restructure the command structure (unlike allied contingents).  It is nothing to do with changing the way the game is played.

I'm sorry, that's still quite abstract. Could you give an example please?

The troops in a C-in-C's and Sub-generals commands are not fixed and can change from game to game and are defined when generals are placed on the table - unlike allied commands which are fixed when the list is drawn up.

The note could be deleted as unnecessary IMO.

Ah, so it is just restating the general rule, in case people see a justification in the preceding remarks about Feudal and Communal to move allied troops in and out of allied command?

I'd have to agree with Nik that it is obsolete and add that it is really rather confusing, sorry.

Of course you can decide on the day who commands what in the field, but you'll never have that flexibility with allied troops and commands, that stands to reason.

I''ll remove the note if it is just causing confusion!
