Devastating chargers

Do these units have to charge or counter-charge to get the +1 bonus? I'm thinking mainly of the scenario of cav charging inf  who have that characteristic but which has decided to  stand to receive the charge. Given that the characteristic is designed to simulate charges that have above-average momentum, it would seem to be a bit odd to give it to a unit without any momentum.

No. You get it whether you charge or not.

I've asked this question in an earlier thread.  You claim it whether moving or standing. I think it's to do with the ferocious fighting style of the unit.
