Hi, thought it would be good to start a thread where people build Maximus (the 'main' game) armies using the PSC kit.

List what you use and the 10k army, and what pieces are left over.

Once we have a good set (at least 1 list for each released army) these would be good to put into the resources page - as people new to 15mm gaming arriving via MeG will be able to more easily know what they should get to have an army.

So, fire away!

      First up,

MAXIMUS LIST: Later 100 Years War English - only using PSC figures

List attached. 9988 points

Purchase:
2x Mortem et Gloriam Hundred Years' War English Pacto Starter Army
1x Mortem et Gloriam Hundred Years' War French Pacto Starter Army

This provides:
    9 Mounted Generals
    18 Mounted knights
    18 Foot knights
    18 Foot command
    36 Foot men-at-arms
    108 Longbowmen
    60 Billmen
    24 Crossbowmen
    18 Spearmen with pavise

Mounted Generals
    CIC: 3 Figures
    SUB1: 2 Figures
    SUB2: 2 Figures
    SUB3: 2 Figures

English Knights
6 bases with 3 figures per base (18 total)
Use the 18 mounted knight figures (all)

English Knights - dismounted
6 bases with 4 figures per base (24 total)
Use the 18 foot knight figures, 3 per base, with 1 foot command figure to make the 4th figure per base.
This means 18 foot knights and 6 foot command figures used
Note these don't appear in the list attached, as these are the 'dismountable' option purchased for the English Knights - replace the cav knights with these if you are playing a match where foot knights desired more than cav knights

Retinue and other Longbowmen with Men-at-Arms
18 bases (3 figures per base): 54 figures
Each base has 2 Longbowmen (36 total) and either a command figure (6) or a men-at-arms figure (12) in the centre of the base.
Use 1 longbow/command base and 2 longbow/men-at-arms bases for the front rank of each TUG of longbowmen

Retinue and other Longbowmen
18 bases (3 figures per base): 54 figures
Each base has 3 Longbowmen (54 total)
These form the rear ranks of the longbowmen

Men-at-arms
6 bases with 4 figures per base (24 total figures)
    Use 24 foot Men-at-arms figures.
Note this means 24 MaA used here and 12 MaA used for the longbowmen, using all 36 purchased.

Billmen
16 bases with 4 figures per base (64 figures)
    use 60 billmen figures.
Complete the figure count with 4 foot command figures
On two of the bases there will be 2 command 2 billmen figures for a fronk rank command base for each TUG, the rest of the bases will be comprised of 4 billmen each.

Crossbowmen
8 bases with 3 figures per base (24 figures)
    Use the 24 crossbowmen figures.

Figures left over
    2 Foot command figures
    18 Longbowmen
    18 Spearmen with pavise

Next steps /additions
You could make another 6 bases of Longbowmen (3 per base) with the left over 18 longbowmen, and then have an extra TUG of longbow without men-at-arms or use to bolster existing TUGS and add flexibility to the list.
Spearmen not used in Later HYW English lists but could be used to represent German Spearmen in the Early HYW English list but would need more figures (a minimum unit of 6 bases is 24 figures).
Use the 2 command figures on your generals bases, or to break up other bases for variety.
Consider adding some Skirmishers when available from PSC.
Consider dropping the camp back to Poor, to gain more points for adjustments.

interesting, would like to start a early imperial roman army but don't really know what I should need from the PSC store?
