The Scouting Cards are calculated as 1/30 pt for each base of Skirmishing Infantry, 1/20 pt for each base of Cv/Cm/Ch (except flexibles/skirmishers), 1/10th pt for each base of Flexible/Skirmish cavalry.
The PBS cards are: the Army Commander Score + (Scouting Score/3) + 2 rounded down.
The Scouting cards are: the Scouting Score + (Army Commander Score/3) rounded down.
Example.
Competent Professional Army Commander commanding an army with 18 skirmishing foot, 6 skirmishing cavalry and 12 other cavalry.
Army Commander Score = 5 (Competent = 3, Professional +2) .
Scouting Score = 0.6 (for skirmishing foot 18/30) + 0.6 (for skirmishing cavalry 6/10) + 0.6 (for other cavalry 12/20) = 1.8
PBS cards = 7 + (1.8/3) = 7.6 round down= 7.
Scouting cards = 1.8 + (5/3) = 3.467 round down = 3.
FOR Magna multiply the scouting score by 1.5. Pacto multiply the scouting score by 2.5.
