Camelry base depth

Hi all,

I'm about to start on a Tuareg army with the lovely figures from Museum Miniatures, but I'm faced with a bit of a problem: they are too long for a normal cavalry base 40x30mm.
Would it be a problem for game play if I put them on 40x40?

Hmm, perhaps I even need longer bases still, like 40x50mm?

yes dept is ok 4x4 just tell upon deployment and have a few bases without minitures in case of cheese claims by your opponent
