Paper Romans
« on: December 28, 2020, 06:34:59 PM »
I am rubbish at painting and interested in way too many periods, so for many years I have been using paper "flats" for wargaming. I have mostly used flats for sci fi and fantasy gaming and some historical skirmishing here and there but I really got the itch to do big battle ancients with MeG. I found the Wargaming series by Peter Dennis a couple of years ago but had not invested until now, and I am glad I finally did. I actually got the War of the Roses book first and then found his website peterspaperboys.com to pick up Republican Romans and Carthaginians. It only takes me a couple of hours to clip a unit of 6 stands. To date I have finished  two Magna 8000 point armies (Yorkist and Lancastrian English), a 10000 point Maximus Roman army and I am 3 units short of a 10000 point Carthaginian army. Pics of the Romans below....
