roman consuls

As I start to paint and base my Late Imperial   Romans, I have another question. Do you base your Roman Consuls  as Generals or sub commanders or do just base them with your generals? I have looked in the rules/compendium and watched videos on you tube but have been unable to find an answer. Thanks in advance for any and all responses. Jedffart1

I use the as generals.  Often time consults were in charge.  And many times not so good and the legate leading the legions were rather better.

Try a Mediocre AC with 2 Talented sub-generals and it represents that perfectly.
