Hello all, Scotland calling.

We have a very enthusiastic band of 4/5 who have committed to being the core of our first MEG wargames weekend on the 12th and 13th of September 2020.

The thinking is an open format to encourage as many folk as possible to make the trip. Perth is the venue as the only club I know that plays MEG in Scotland at the moment.  I have this year started to mix in ADLG circles with a view to taking part in the competitions North of the Wall which are all ADLG at the moment.  I am thus hoping to persuade some pals that there's room in their hearts for both.

So we'd really appreciate some support in using this to expand the playing base up here.

More to follow but if you are planning to muck in then please let us know here.

Cheers

I might do a long weekend and visit the Bannockburn Visitor Centre again, great interactive re-fight of the battle

Following discussion with Hunter, it appears that we have no alternative other than to cancel this year's event. Our premises are still closed due to lockdown. The Scottish lockdown is also still several stages behind that down South. Better to pull the plug now rather than hang on.
May be next year.
