As Matt says see the QRS - the +2 and +1 claims for Shatter and Shove have the "*" which is "Only claimable when fighting to front".

I would still advice it to be specified in the rules

The eternal MEG problem : information is scattered in the rules, QRS updates makes it difficult to find the right info and players do loose time that way
