Republican Roman legion

Hi all. How would you represent a Pacto MRR legion of one base of Hastati and one base of Principes? Would they be side to side or one behind the other? Thanks everyone.

Not sure I understand the question. All Pacto UGs are one base-width wide, so a 2-base UG has to have one base behind the other.
