PLEASE NOTE:
1. The 2023 lists will remain on the website until 31st January 2024.  Our intention is to publish the lists officially before 1st January 2024 at which time a link will be placed on the Mortem et Gloriam website.
2. The lists may still be changed up until this time.  You will have to re-download the list sets when they are officially published.  The draft lists are watermarked with the word "Draft" so there really is no excuse!
3. Magna and Pacto lists will be updated to reflect the changes in the Maximus lists.  These are not ready to be published yet.
4. If you spot an error in a list or have a query about a change, please add a topic to the forum List Queries and included "Draft 2024" in the subject title.
5. Don't post a topic saying not to make any changes to the list sets. It will get removed. We believe the advantages of making list changes outweigh the disadvantages.
6. We have included the draft army builder so that it may be tested by the wider community.  I recommend waiting until the lists are officially published before copying any 2023 lists into the 2024 army builder.  I know this process is a little bit fiddly.  My recommendation is copy cells A14:O47 and paste values into the new builder, repeat for cells A49:O64 and if you have expendables for A66:O67.  Then retype the army name and number, date, allies, terrain, camp choice and general choices.  The XLS version has been tested with the latest version of Excel.  The ODS version has been tested with Apache Open Office and Libre Office.

A set of updates to the draft lists have been issued on 21st November 2023.  In addition to correcting some minor errors, these include:

1. Adjusting the multiplier for Exceptional troops to 1.9.
2. Limiting Roman exceptional legionaries (Praetorians etc) to an UG size of 6.
3. Introducing "Elephant kings", the ability for certain Indian and South East Asian generals to fight in combat with Elephant TuGs in their command.
4. Allowing Sassanid Persian asvaran in the Middle Sassanid Persian, Sassanid Persian and Late Sassanid Persian list the option of Shower Shooting.
5. Etruscans, Camillan Romans and Later Campanian legions reclassified.
6. All/none option for change to Post-Mongol Russian dvor, lesser boyars and retainers.  (Introduced 22/11/23).
