We have been playing Impetus for 10+ years as a group. We have had a great time with this set but I think we are ready to move on. The one thing we like most about Impetus is the large dioramic basing. There is no going back to DBx basing. We are interested in MeG and were wondering if MeG could work for units based on standard 12 cm frontages. I notice that there are different unit sizes in MeG which we could not accommodate with this basing.  Any recommendations?  We are not worried about tournaments or such. Appreciate any feedback or suggestions.

Simon did a video on how to use MeG with different basing https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwi-392Z9LL0AhUQi1wKHefwDWMQwqsBegQIBRAB&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3Dva6FFA_v2CI&usg=AOvVaw3znXhtU3J_zrFYSEUA9Rxx.

The short answer is yes you can.  It imposes a few constraints, but nothing that would matter for friendly games.

Thanks. I took a look at the video you mentioned. Looks promising. I think the Pacto with large bases is what we are looking for.

Pacto with large bases is fab.  I played it in RSA in 28mm with hoplites vs Gauls on big impetus style bases.  Looked amazing.  The bases were 160mm x 80mm.  So for pacto the BW was 160mm.  So we played on an 8ft table.  I have some photos but alas they are 6400 miles away.

Have fun and do report back.  If you need any help just ask.
