villages

Hi,
It says in the terrain table that a village can be in any area yet in the PBS it says that you cannot have difficult going in either Open or Plains. Which is it?

Hi Geoff,

I think you are confusing the Territory Type (Standard, Coastal, Mountain, Forests etc) with the density of terrain (Plains, Open, Normal, Desnse, Very Dense). Villages can be selected with any Territory Type; but may not be selected if the density is Plains or Open because they forbid Difficult terrain.

There was a rather nice Viking village on show at the ITC in Brussels.
