2021-08-15 - Society of Ancients Battle Day - Shaw House, Newbury, UK

I am planning to run a table at the Society of Ancients Battleday on Sunday 15th August.
This years event will be held at Shaw House, Newbury.

The battle this year (postponed from last year) is Bosworth.

For those who don't know, the Battleday is where the same battle is fought using different rulesets.  There is a 45 minute presentation on the battle from a historian before the battles begin.  There is a small fee for participating paid on the day.  You always come away from the day knowing more than when you arrived.  For overseas gamers there is the opportunity to organise your own re-fight and send a report in.  We might also try to arrange a remote hook-up using Zoom.
