Lydian cavalry

Lydians have short spear dev charge
Would they be better represented as long spear?

My reasoning...

They are described as having unusually long lances, and being so much better than the Persian (early Iranian?) Cav that even while outnumbering the lydians the persians resort to disguised camels to neutralise them.

With the Iranian cav having melee expert and shooting,  while the lydians don't...I would bet against the lydians face to face with the persians.

Add in the lydian descendants becoming cataphract types  long spear seems a reasonable choice.

Admittedly I personally love short spear dev charge cav... but without melee expert they seem a little underpowered vs their historical opponents

A fair point.  I will take another look at the balance between the Perisan and Lydian cavalry.
