Hey all,

If I have a infantry SUG infront of cavalry subject to a forced charge. If my opponent charges the SUG, and I skirmish/run away through the cavalry are the skirmishers still destroyed by the forced charge?

My read is no as the skirmish response occurs before charge moves, which is where SUGs burst through are destroyed?

No the SuG is not destroyed unless it is contacted by the chargers.  If it evades through the cavalry and the cavalry stand then the SuG is fine.

For the avoidance of doubt, the OP the cavalry don't stand, they do a forced charge - so the SUG evades through cavalry that are about to do a forced charge. AFAIK this doesn't change the answer.

Indeed, the cavalry force charge is moved after the SuG has skirmished or run away.

Thanks for the responses.

Makes perfect sense, if the SUG move with a white move or evade out of the way before the charge phase - they will not be destroyed by a forced charge.
