Brand new to MeG, joined for the fantasy - where to start?

Complete newbie here - I have two warhammer fantasy armies and would love to figure out how to use them in different rulesets.

In order to tinker around with MeG, do I need to get the base MeG rulebook, and then look in these forums for the rules for beasts and fantasy races, etc?   Or will the fantasy supplement, when it comes out, have the base rules included?

You will have to buy the rulebook.   You could be waiting an awful long time for a fantasy supplement to be published.

Hoping not too long.  Next on the block after RTW.  So hoping end of year.
