I am sure it has been discussed but find in nowhere:

A mixed mounted and infantry TUG : are they foot or mounted for speed of movement, combat, affected by terrain?

Unless there is a list special rule the movement of the mixed UGs will be that of the slowest bases.

Being affected by terrain for combat will be per the base(s) fighting.

I wonder if those mixed formations could use a reclassification, honestly.
They combine the limitations of both of their component parts while harnessing almost none of their respective strengths, and manage to trip over several weird rules corner-cases while they're at it.

For example, the front rank cav pays to be able to Skirmish/Run-Away, and to be able to Break Off from infantry without taking a KaB. But because of the infantry in the back, they can't actually use either of those abilities.

Instead, the UG has forced charges against infantry within 1BW because the back-rank infantry don't shoot. (So they drag their samurai bosses along for the ride— bloody peasants! :P )

In the most extreme (and pedantic) example, I'm not sure that, RaW, the UG can back up?
The M12 move is to Fall Back with Cv, Cm, Ch, and skirmishers— so the infantry can't do it—  while M13 is to Fall Back with troops who aren't Cv, Cm, Ch, or skirmishes— so the cavalry can't do it.
(Unless I'm missing something?)

So, uh, TL;DR— these guys behave super weird. :P

(I don't have a problem with cool, janky units, but— utterly unqualified amateur opinion incoming— I'm not sure these mixed cv/inf TuGs bring anything to the table worth the jank? I kinda' wonder if they should just be classed as Fleet close-order infantry, if only to make them play nice with the rules... but that's neither here nor there, I suppose.)
