First Game

First off a big thank you to Simon for getting Roger and myself in touch

Want to try Meg for a while now but never got the chance. Roger kindly offered an introduction to the game as we are both in South Wales during the week. Roger has the some office space that can be turned into a games room with some shuffling of desks.

I brought along 10,000 points of New Kingdom Egyptians to play Imperial Roman. The battle took place next to the Nile with a single low hill close to the river. I place all my tribe troops closed to the river, then the main body of Egyptian foot, and on the other flank all the chariots. Richards Romans were the belt and braces version with all his cavalry on the banks of the Nile with his legions in a battle line a lot shorter than mine, We only managed two full moves, which saw some shooting, a charge on by Nubian archers who survived the charge but died horrible in the melee. I really enjoyed the whole game, and really like the KaB test so much quicker and simpler that a traditional morale test. Looking forward to another game soon.
