Basing HYW English Pacto

Hello all
I'm new to MeG (and the medieval period - I bought MeG whilst on the PSC site buying WW2 minis). Along with the compendium rules, I also bough a set of HYW English and French.

The English are now painted up and ready for basing, but I'm unsure as to the number of figures I should use per base. For example, are my English bowmen close, lose or skirmish? Is it my choice and I can mix the number on bases for flexibility, or do I need to do some research as to how these men fought at the time? I'm working my way through various Osprey books in-between painting sessions

I've looked through the army lists and couldn't find (perhaps I  missed it?) any for HYW.

The recommended number of figures per base are listed on Page 35 of the Compendium.

Your English archers will be Loose and so 3 figures per base.
