Dismounted bow/crossbow

What is the range of dismounted cavalry bows and crossbows, is it 3BW or 4BW

Infantry shoot at 4 BW, mounted at 3 BW.  The rules don't appear make any distinction for infantry with the dismountable characteristic who are mounted (or mounted with the dismountable characteristic who have dismounted) - unless "Mounted" is supposed to include "Mounted Infantry", in which case what do dismounted cv/cm/chariots count as?  Whether they should or not I guess is a matter of opinion.

As they cannot shoot whilst mounted it is a bit moot in that case I would suggest.
