Hi All, had 2 great games the weekend , just one thing if a general is killed does he goto another command? or does he leave the battlefield? apart from that all went very well .

A dead general is removed from play. A replacement arrives the following turn (at 4.1 if Professional, 6.2 if Instinctive) and is placed with a unit in the command (if no units left in the command there is no replacement and he gets dealt no cards). Until the replacement arrives cards are still dealt and can still be played but all units in the command count as out of command.

Great to hear you had fun!
It is therefore simulation some command chaos followed by a subordinate taking over.
Easier and quicker for professionals than instinctive.

Sorry lads ,info came out wrong , i mean what if the generals command is all killed? does he leave the field also ?

Simon Meg-Meister

No he is still alive .... and can still fight and die!
Probaby should for the sake of his memory. :-\

But then no replacement takes if he dies.... as nothing to take over!

In rule terms note:

1. Any general can be moved with an UG, so he can attach himself and be dragged around and fight.
2. He can of course still move himself.
3. If professional he could still prompt non-allied UGs within his command range paying for out of command.
