Player Discussion / The MeG Podcast Season 4, Episode 7 - Terrain
« on: May 31, 2024, 01:44:48 PM »
The MeG Podcast team with a special guest discuss terrain, how it works in MeG and how we represent it on the table.

The usual team of Richard Jeffrey-Cook, Matt Haywood and Nik Gaukroger were joined by Paul Stovell to have a wide ranging conversation about terrain in MeG.

The episode can be found at - https://themegpodcast.podbean.com/e/the-meg-podcast-series-4-episode-7-terrain/

Hopefully this discussion is informative and gets players thinking about how terrain works and is used in MeG, as well as how we represent it on the table.

As always, feedback and suggestions for further podcasts are very welcome

Upcoming MeG Podcast klaxon ... the subject of the next episode will be TERRAIN.

So once again we're asking our listeners, and possible listeners, for any questions and thoughts they may have for us to tackle, or attempt to tackle 😜 We will leave any specifics up to you, all that we ask is that they are related to terrain.

Feel free to post something here, or to drop me an email at nikgaukroger@blueyonder.co.uk

Recording is planned for next Thursday, so before then please.

We have a new episode of The MeG Podcast available for you.

In this episode of The MeG Podcast the team look at some armies, and enemies, from the Southeast Asia list PDF - possibly one of the more obscure of the list PDFs for many players. As usual we have some history and answer some questions posed by our listeners.

The podcast can be found at - https://themegpodcast.podbean.com/e/the-meg-podcast-series-4-episode-6-a-million-elephants-southeast-asian-armies/

The show notes can be found at - https://gamer-at-the-end-of-time.blogspot.com/2024/04/the-meg-podcast-series-4-episode-6.html

Reading material has been hard to identify this time, likewise figure suggestions. If anyone knows of anything that may be useful please post a comment so that others can find out 😁

As always, we would be delighted to get feedback and suggestions for things we can cover in future episodes and questions for us to tackle; drop me a line at nikgaukroger@blueyonder.co.uk 🥳

There is a new episode of The MeG Podcast available. In this one we look at the Early Arab Conquests and 6 lists from the period covered by the first 2 lists in the Arabia PDF. We also answer a few questions sent to use by listeners - so if you sent one, have a listen for the answer.

The lists, etc. can be found on my blog as usual:

Hope you enjoy it and as ever feedback and suggestions welcome.

Modelling and Eye Candy / New muslim flags
« on: February 15, 2024, 09:03:07 AM »
I have recently replaced a number of flags on some of my islamic units with better ones. These were produced by a chap called Pete Barfield (he posted them on Twitter and Facebook) who kindly is happy for people to use and modify as they wish. He made them for 28mm but a bit of resizing sorts that for 15mm. Some of these are as Pete made, but most have had additional images added over his base colour flag.
