Rules Queries / How many/what colour cards
« on: June 11, 2019, 01:02:13 PM »
A situation occured during my last game.

My Legendary Instintive General (CinC) who is 'in combat' wishes to send a command to another TUG (Not of his command) that is out of sight  (LOS blocked by trees) in order to get that TUG to move forwards . The commander of that TUG's command is awaiting to come onto the board at the end of the movement phase (Had prior been 'killed')

1) Can the CinC do this ?
2) Does line of sight inhibit the sending of a commad ?
3) How many and of what colour command cards are required, bearing in mind the CinC is in comabt ?

Any help chaps ?

Looking at the 'Archers' Listed in the Charlemagne Carolingian list. The Archers Infantry, (formed loose) are listed as having up to 9 bases. Should they be only a maximum of 8 bases ?

Rules Queries / Range of Roman darts equivalent to that of cavalry bow?
« on: January 09, 2019, 05:49:43 PM »
During my last game My cavalry found itself  under fire from Roman infantry darts....having the same range of three inches..the same as my cavalry bow..why is this ?.....surly the ability to throw a dart is not as great as an arrow fired from a bow.
Would it be more realistic to have the dart ranged two inches rather than three inches.?
