I'm curious to see what the official reply is.  We've been playing it just like Maximus.  If it doesn't have room, you can't do it.  4 mu's instead of 3 isn't a real big deal since each mu is only 20 mm.

In the Ghengis lists, the Later Zhou and Early Northern Song allow the spearmen to be upgraded to melee expert and drilled.  The rear rank crossbowmen are graded formed.  Either the veteran spearmen need to graded formed or the rear rank veteran crossbowmen need to be graded drilled.  Please advise.
