So I've painted one box... but I ordered a second one (so I can play Magna...). So only 50% done!
I've been painting them in all colours, except the Immortals for which I came up with a sort of uniform...

I have painted all the command models and mixed the 2x boxes to make 4x generals.
I have a few more ready and painted and I'm considering making bases with more or less models so I can have options for different levels of generals

That's where I'm heading I think... I want to keep the sparabara shields on the front row so that sounds like the best option

Hi guys,
I got a box of PSC MeG Pacto Achaemenid Persian starter army (and I'm about to get a second one ) and I am not quite sure how best to base the infantry troops?

In the box there are 14 x Immortals (6 x spearmen holding shields and 8 x archers without shields) and 28 x Sparabara (same ratio of spearmen and archers).
With Flexible troops I understand people make bases of 4s and bases of 3s so you can swap them around to show the unit as loose order if the 3s are at the front, or close order if the 4s are at the front, but with the big spara shields, you'd want them all at the front right?

I can always use a marker otherwise to show when loose or close order, but was interested to see how others have based theirs!

Wouldn't the BW be 60mm in PACTO if the unit frontage is 120mm?
Pacto in 15mm uses 20mm BW for 40mm unit frontage, correct?
