The error is really in the Aimoré list. Where they have DC they should lose the bow. This was an early classification. The regrade represents guerilla and raids they made. To be honest the fleet of foot - shoot and charge is a better classification for these too . Missile focussed DCs are very generous ! This does go back to the original list. I guess they just slipped through

As an aside Aimoré is somewhat pejorative, and would be better Gueren-Gueren and Cariri.

As for not being at an advantage shoot and charge does go first and Tupi have melee expert - so are marginally better than other Gé especially the Waitacá who were equally fierce

This note seems to come in about in the 2020-1 release. I guess this represents the ad hoc expeditionary armies from the guard commands (zhechongfu sp~?), this seems reasonable from 636~. I would hypothesise that these would be short lived and were abandoned after contact with the Tibetan Empire and Eastern Türk. The last example of this <that I think of> is the Battle at Dafei in 670.  So, I would say that this note should be restricted to between 630-670.

Given the Tang settling into a more defensive stance on the northern frontier it does segue neatly in the Later Northern list where the 'sturdy lads', bingmu & fangding, replace (when re-registration of soldiers and their dependents in the garrisons) the Fubing.

Minor point really - feel free to ignore.

I told a fib , there new 2 packs that were different. The heavy infantry and the crossbowmen

#5
That is correct. The only difference between the two lines is one pack of infantry. The close order infantry so an important one, but all the cavalry archers etc all the same. The missing pack used to be called QINBG01. They had slightly different armour but that is it.

Is there any reason Lurkio are not selling them? i can see the ranges here

The only difference between the Han & the Qin range is one pack of infantry.

List Queries / Re: Kingdom of Pagan Militia Replacement

The Pagan empire could field large armies, but it was only via the kyundaw method of conscription. I would suggest that the militia listed here are alternative representations of the local tribes who would submit troops to that conscription.

Quoteevery army has more superiors than the Inca

Therein lies the problem, the lists were designed with a balance amongst its contemporaries. Adjusting one just throws out that balance. It the same view is being taken then all the other SA lists should lose the superiors also.

It is a bit galling to see it quite so gutted. This period was of the military campaigns that extended the kingdom to the southern end of the Titicaca Basin, and hundreds of miles north to subject the Cajamarca and Chimu kingdoms.

I'm not sure what 'feels right' means but if it was a general downgrade the perhaps a m/e 1/2 factors drop might have been less harsh.

Other than drill they are no better than the tribes they subjugated
