1. Professional generals can hold one more card than their allowance - do they ever have to give it back ? Or are they only capped to USING their allowance only (so can use their best 3 cards if competent out of a hand of 4)?
2.Can a TUG pass through a friendly TUG so long as it has the move to do so? Or are there restrictions?
How can elephants pass thorough a pike block or cataphracts? I think I have this wrong
3. Is the +1 for superior troops to skirmish very optional or is it frequently used ?

Hi the units that can charge and shoot do they only shoot in the charge phase ?
Also why choose cantabrian / African I know your shooting is better but especially for skirmish
makes it harder to escape being caught by chargers ?
Ps does cantabrian and African upgrade your shooting even if you run away ?

Player Discussion / Shooting in Pacto

Hi as Pacto shooting doesn't have slowing movements or (I think) no prompting through fire
Does this mean shooting is less effective relatively speaking than in the other forms of the game ?

List Queries / azabs as SUGS option
June 13, 2020, 09:43:12 AM

For Ototmans would it make more sense for Azabs to have option to be SUGs especially as behind barricades they don't have to run away. Makes them less tough but means easier to do typical Ottoman tactics of letting them be chaff to wear down the opponents and not be bothered about it. Making them TUGs means that their loss does contribute to army break level?
So as at Nicopolis the Crusader knights broke through the Azabs to get to the Janissaries
but the Ottoman nerve held and they routed them with an ambush
Would encourage historical Ottoman operational strategy- go on offensive but in the battle pick defensive position and force the enemy to come to them
