Will put my list in on Friday after I have a practice game on Thursday with a weird army that might surprise but might also be a disaster waiting to happen. So what's new in my case.
Now I am intrigued! :)
One way or another you will find out on Friday.
I'll expect something boring then! ;D
You know me so well, damn!!
Wills list is in and locked and loaded.
And it is awful! ;D

I couldn't possibly say. I really mean, I couldn't say.
Looks more interesting than some classical boring lists you see knocking around.
9/16 or 9/18. Depends on Pitfields progress.. ;D
10/18
Vulgar fractions ?
5/9 then...
The Emperor is dead, long live...
Well, whoever really!
As the Emperor lay dying, his generals started manoeuvring themselves into positions of power. The Praetorian Guards have already nominated their favourite, backed by the horse lords of Numidia.
In Spain, Julius Caesar and Marc Antony plot to retake Rome, aided by their own Numidian allies.
However, Numidia herself, backed by Roman 'friends' who were campaigning in the area, has declared she wants nothing to do with these usurpers, and has moved towards her own freedom.
In the frozen forests of the Rhine, Quintus Varrus and his German allies pull back from their planned expedition into the east to stabilise the area, but will their attentions turn on Rome too?
Along the Danube Frontier, including the Dalmatian coast, and onto Byzantium, the troops have declared for their emperor too.
The Governor of the Palestine and Asian provinces has also been forced to declare his hand, afraid that the powerful provinces either side of him will tear him asunder.
To his North, Valarian, the Syrian govoner is cancelling his proposed expedition into Persia to make a move on the Empire.
While in Egypt, Pompeius Magna holds his legions tightly as he tries to assess the situation.
Meanwhile, the normally loyal province of Dalmatia has seen the carnage that is about to happen all around herself and has declared independence, dragging their Paeonian allies with them.
Northern Gaul too, led by a bunch of indominable rebels, has declared its independence, will Alessia be avenged?
This leaves the newly conquered, but unstable Britain to fend for herself, her garrison has come out in support of local tribes, but who is really pulling the strings, Cartumunda or Paulinus?
The Thracian client kingdom, normally so friendly to Rome, has made entreaties towards the last remaining independent Macedonian kingdom, and the two have mutually declared they will defend each other.
Eyeing the situation eagerly, ever ready for loot, the tribes of the Turcilingi have allied with the Rugii and slather at the chance of attacking a weakened border.
Round the Black Sea, the Sarmatians and Quadi have also taken the opportunity to group together and probe towards the lower Danube frontier.
To the East, watching with greedy eyes, Cyrus, the Archmedian King-of-Kings sees and knows all, and he has seen an opportunity for consolidatation and expansion of his recent conquests, so marches one again to war.
Unfortunately, he is threatened form the South by Shapur II, the worthy ruler of Sassanian dynasty, who views this as the time to retake the whole of their homeland and to prey upon the weakened Romans too.
Both leave their eastern flanks exposed though, as the ancient Graeco-Bactrian Kingdom, founded by Alexander himself, reaches out during this opportunity to strike out against the many years of torment inflicted upon it.
These three mighty Eastern realms need to consider their actions carefully however, as from the Mountains of the Kush to the valley of the Ganges, the marauding Kushan Kingdoms are looking to expand their power.
Who will emerge Victorious? Who will claim the laurels of Rome, or will all be crushed beneath the heal of a barbarian power?

Warlord Entwistle should be listed as using Turcilingi with Rugii, Scirii and Heruli Allies.
This means he has THREE compulsory allies.
To make this more fun, we are going to open a voluntary sweepstake on how many times his allies go unreliable. Winner takes 50%, the other 50% will be donated by Boards and Swords to 'Models for Heroes'.

My bet is 2 for £2.
(Pack of sugar free sweeties to Stephen for spotting the error)
With four Legendry 8) ::) generals what can go wrong
Lee has dropped out (work)
Anyone free?
Here you go all - wooden spoon!
Maybe a bit too topical.

Appreciate you being prudent.
Many thanks to everyone who went to Derventio last weekend and, of course, especially to Will for organising and then dropping out to keep numbers even.
Can we fight the abandoned game next time you are up 😜🤪
