In a few list (British, French, burgundy, Italian...) we can have dismounted Knight 2HW, heavily armored melee expert dismountable.
Should they be deployed mounted and end up fighting they would be -/heavily armored, fight on their moral grade with combat shy as malus.
But what would be their weapon on impact and melee?
Impact: are they getting the charging lancer and the compulsory charge attached to it?
Mêlée: are they mêlée expert ?
Thx for advising
Cheers
Rino
I think they fight as their foot characteristics but with combat shy as a negative. They certainly do not get all the mounted benefits outlined by yourself. Good try though.

Well, we have a tournament on « 100 years war » period over the week end and I m more expecting than expected to see such niceties.
There are no 2 handed hit and crush weapon factor for the mounted, thus the question
Besides charging lancer in a world of pikemen is no blessing.
Richard, any official confirmation (valid at least for the weekend so we avoid wasting the time of the umpire )?
Thanks in advance
Cheers
The answer is in the description of the characteristic:
"If contacted while mounted, dismountable infantry fight as if they are on foot but are treated as Combat Shy, representing their discomfort at fighting without having properly dismounting."
My emphasis of the important bit.
Thx Nik!
