Imagine a Shoot and Charge TUG faces a skirmisher. It shoots and charges and the skirmisher runs away. The shooting slows the skirmisher (so it might be caught) - can the skirmisher then use cards to push through the slowing?
Yes.
That should be clarified as many think it is only when charging 8)

I agree with Badaboum
My understanding was that it was limited to Chargers during the charge phase
The use command card to prompt through fire appears only in sp2.6 on page 47.
This is the charger paragraph.
No such option is proposed to unit running away on paragraph 2.5.
in the specific case we could think maybe for the slow from the shooting but after reading the game séquence it is clearly no.
Simon thanks for an official clarie
it does takeaway the benefit of shoot and charge on skirmishers.
makes shoot and charge less effective
skirmishers become even harder to catch
Page 93 - 4
Slowing effect of fire is in the shooting section deliberatlely and states chargers and movers.
I'll try to tweak the QRS space permitting.

Then have the turn séquence reviewed as well as it should be coherent with the content of the rule.
Cheers
So is it just about Shoot&Charge?
Or is there more to it. than that?
The Turn sequence isn't the place if its just about that characteristic.

well allowing the skirmishers to use cards to run downgrades the shoot and charge advantage
Hi Jilu,
Indeed, but was always the intent from the beginning with prompting being allowed for "chargers and movers" on page 93
Movers was always anything that moves.
Worked better as a term before Shoot & Charge as that introduced evaders into the mix, and I can see not 100% whether you consider them to be "movers".
They moved so yes, but in charge phase so maybe no? I'll clear it up. No problem.
I don't mind it as it eats up good cards to get away which pays back elsewhere. I find if I can force people to use 3 cards prompting through fire their command initiative tends to drop a lot.
