As a quick experiment I've painted ups new plastic test figure. The brief was to very quick and show off the level of detail that the figures have.
So 10 minuets from start to finish. Quick zap with Wraithbone contract primer, and then a pallete of 3-4 browns....

Not going to win a painting comp, but it does show the detail and the speed with which you can get these on the tabletop
Look great for such an easy job.
And enough detail you could go to town if you wanted to.
I'll try a few when I get the time as well.

Nice. It's going to feel a long wait until they are available... :P
We will see how we get on

First of all, great hook up with PSC; all very exciting.
On the painted figures above , which brown paints/washes did you use?
all contrast paints.
Guilliman flesh wash
Snakebite leather
Basilicanum grey
Aggaros Dunes
Belated thanks! I have tried some on Lurkio Chinese cavalry and they came out very well. I find you have to be more accurate, but overall it speeds things up.
