Title: Evading with mixed morale unit
Post by: daveparish on July 15, 2019, 10:35:42 AM
When evading you get +1 on the dice for being Superior. What happens with a mixed unit - eg front rank Superior, back rank Average. Do they get the +1?

I would have thought not.

I would treat it is the same as for morale tests, you always take the lowest morale.

I am not sure that this has ever been explicitly stated.

The counter argument would be that it says +1 for Superior, not +1 for all Superior (though I suspect I'm pushing things a bit here!)

And also -1 for Poor !

There aren't that many mixed units that are capable of evading.   (In fact I was wondering which army you were thinking of).

We should always apply the lowest as with Morale.
But a fair question.
