Under Universal rules, p.45 it says "an army is broken immediately if it loses half of its TUGs and the game then stops. You do not finish a sub-phase, phase or turn."
Today my TUG received its last wound and routed, breaking my army. In the same file where I received a wound, I did a wound on my opponent which caused him to lose a base, which is an immediate KAB on the general who was fighting in the front rank.
Do I get to roll a KAB on the general, and if I kill him, do I get to roll a KAB on the unit he is with, (which would have broken his army too) or did everything stop when my last TUG routed.
Thanks.
The current action is completed but not the sub-phase. In the case you have outlined the action (fighting the file in sub-phase 5.2) includes the Immediate (Timing column in the KAB test table on the QRS) KAB on the General and, should he be Skulled, the Immediate (ditto on QRS) test on all UGs in LOC within 2BW.
Any KABs for seeing TUGs break or being routed through do not occur until sub-phase 5.3 and so would not have happened before your army broke.

Yep I agree.
And poor show on the other bloke for arguing this one - at least let you have your throw of the die!
As an asoide this did make me chuckle.
Only wargamers and possibly accountants could ask such a question. "how immediate is "immediately"?"
Is it immediate like a heart attack or immediate like when your wife tells you to do something?
LOL ;D
Yes I did think immediately was a pretty precise word ...
But in South Africa they have
"Now" and "Now Now"
The first means when i get to it, and the second means now.
Caused chaos for me at the beginning as I was waiting for all these things that were being done "now", until someone said "oh you wanted in "now now""
