I know the reasonning behind the fact that we consider a base out of terrain for fighting if the front of the base is out of the terrain . Even by a micro millimiter
I also know it sounds regish but honnestly it's a difficult concept for new players and if you want to be consistent and visual and as we play by FILES any file still in terrain is affected by the terrain .
It's a game so either we consider the "real scale" and why then is a unit partially oput of terrain not affected by the terrain for shooting and combat ( charge&melee ) but it is affected when moving . Where is the logic . Either it is in or out but here a mixing of both concepts.
I would say one rule not two rules for the same case
I would favour that any bases in terrain, any file partially in terrain is affected . It also gives loose armies a much better chance to trap close opponents with terrain and balance the game .
So open to friendly positive discussions for the future of the rules
I prefer once the front is out you are out but agree should be the same for all effects. Movement and cover and combat.
