Looking through the lists for inspiration for a new army, as you do, and noticed a couple of things in the Medieval Portly-geezers that struck me as odd.
1. Unlike Spanish knights the Portuguese are not 50:50 knights and sergeants, and
2. Unlike Spanish knights they are all Superior.
I'd not claim any great knowledge about them but I thought they were pretty much the same as the contemporary Spanish.
Portugal had military orders...
Scotland has last orders. Around 1130 each night!

Portugal had military orders...
All of Spain had them and all the lists have an entry for them.

Once ended up on the piss in the Gorbals, as last orders was called, a door opened to allow you to step next door into the pub that was opening...
Medieval Portuguese may have an early 100 years war english ally .
But should the english leader be Professionnal or Instinctive as the original english list must have a professionnal CIC and "any" sub generals
Once again the rules at the start of each army list set is your friend - from the bit on allies:
Quote
Unless specified in the notes, the general must be the same type as the army commander in the main list but cannot be legendary.
The little bits we miss...
Strange an army that may have a professionnal CIC and all instinctive sub-generals. Not mandatory I'll grant it but still strange
