Hello,

The Late Imperial Byzantine list only states that the ally may be taken "before 1348". However, the dates are peculiar in this case : Late Imperial Byzantine has 1261-1384 and Turcoman Beyliks has 1278-1515.

May I assume that any LIB list dated between 1261 and 1277 may not include a Turcoman ally ?

Correct.  The ally list would say if it can be taken outside the normal dates.
