Title: Bucharest Magna Tournament - LATE MEDIEVAL (1300 CE - 1580 CE)
Post by: Dirkhrod on February 10, 2025, 08:14:56 AM
We had the first 2025 Tournament in Bucharest. As usual, we start with the Late Middle Ages, going through Antiquity (April), Migrations (June), Dark Ages (September) and High Middle Ages (November). This is the plan, at least, it worked well last year.

So it was Magna in 28mm, 7500 Pts. Any list from 1300 to 1580. We were 7 players (had a late dropout unfortunately) and we played 2 games on Saturday and 2 on Sunday with the last place getting a bye. The standings were based on the average number of points per game.

Bogdan Anton won (again), playing an Ottoman Turkish army, followed by yours truly with Early Tudor English in second and Laurentiu Rusen playing German States in third.

It was a very nice and relaxing tournament, we kept things tight regarding the schedule and we all had an enjoyable time.
In the attachment you can find the results and the final table.

Since Rollcall decided to ditch 28mm and we won't go anywhere in early April, we will have the next tournament on April 5th and 6th, with the Classical Age, from 610 BC to 230 AD.
