We are planning Swiss tournament, because of complexity and costs of running tournament in Switzerland we have negotiated an all-inclusive package. Non playing partners are welcome.

However with only 4 weeks to go and 2 to list deadline🙏 please give some thought to your armies and get lists into Antoine (hoekmanantoine@gmail.com) by 15th June latest as he is then on holiday, the plus side of this is I will get runners and riders out in plenty of time for you to consider and practice your tactics.
Following several conversations with players on PM, let me explain my preference for open competitions, for me it is a more complex and cerebral competition requiring better planning and rewarding better Generalship.
How do Romans deal with Saka or Mongols, Mongols deal with medieval long bow, DC/Charging Lancers deal with Superior Thai elephants, Elephants with Macedonian phalanxes, Chariot armies vs Xbows and caltrops.
There is no right answer, but it does start with planning your army to meet a variety of enemies, your opponent has no imperative to follow your plan! You have to have your own plan, strategy and tactics, it also helps to practise against your worst nightmare.
There are a couple of local rules attached to Helvetica, as with Helvetica Minimus, in future Helvetica Maximus comps, Players cannot use an army from a list that they have used before, with 600 + lists, this has added some interesting choices to H/Minimus and expect future comps to provide the same👍😆
I am also looking for feed back on an abandonment rule: if both players declare they can not play then they can abandon the game for a -5 point deduction, an unlikely scenario given how much thought has gone into designing their army and strategy, but I have seen it happen.
