Title: Close Proximity Zone when engaged
Post by: Hayung_is on April 22, 2024, 01:09:45 PM
Hey everyone,

New to MeG and learning slowly down in Australia. Quick one on CPZ.

If a TUG is in combat with another TUG but a whole base (as a supporting file) or part of a base (unaligned but engaged frontally) does it still have a CPZ for enemy TUGS otherwise not engaged?

I'll try use symbols of a simple case;

             AAA
               XXX
       OOO

Say O wanted to advance past A, but the rightmost file was within 1BW of A, would the CPZ apply?

Yes, the CPZ does apply.  There is no exception for a unit being in combat.

There is also no exception for a unit behind another unit and still in the CPZ  8)

I only saw it once but good to remember that your own UGs do not shield you from enemy CPZ
