Plaudits to Simon Stokes and Adrian Callander for organising the Pacto Campaign Weekend (see Events).
I could only make the first day (today) because I am at the Society of Ancients Battleday tomorrow, but I had a thoroughly good time. I took part in the Italian Wars campaign (1482 I think) between Venice and Milan/Florence. It is great to play a series of related battles. Managed to play three in the one day. The third was a river crossing battle, in which my flank march (against the odds) turned up, but I then mucked it up (forgetting there are no intercepts in Pacto! - I blame the rules editor.....).
Really enjoyable day.
