He everybody
Is the note in the heads of list 4519 MING Chinese applicable to allied contingent ? :
« At least 1/3 infantry TUG (excluding Southern auxiliaries) must be downgrade to poor . »
Sorry I did not find anywhere direct statement that it should or should not apply ... anything I find is about « armies » but not « allied contingent ». As I may propose rational for either interpretation , better ask forum .
;)
Richard ? Intend ?
Thanks in advance

I'd go with yes.
Yes intentional even for allied contingents.
Richard
Thanks to you both
Now further in same list I read :
Hand gunner formed close …..
I did not find other shooters as « close » so is this correct or should it be loose ?
I agree I am shortsighted and maybe did not read all 2024 lists with appropriate googles … but still , would you confirm / deny ?

It is deliberate but for the life of me I can't recall why :o
It is deliberate. The reason was a Chinese source implying they used some sort of volley system of fire to repel cavalry. The whole loose/close formation is very dodgy in my opinion.

Thanks fine . I will scratch build some nice bases crowded with gun shooters 🧙♂️🐯🐲🎋
